ShareofClicks

How customers find products

Share of Clicks connects searches with the products customers click on Amazon. This makes it possible to see how customers search and click on Amazon, and how those clicks are distributed across categories, ASINs, and brands.

The SoC Index quantifies how search queries are distributed across clicks on ASINs, brands and categories, and highlights where changes have occurred.

Search-type

Where brands have an advantage

The search-type analysis categorises all search terms as either ‘branded’ (where the brand name appears in the search term) or ‘generic’.

This enables manufacturers to see, on a category-by-category basis, how strong their brand is from the customer’s perspective, and to identify opportunities and risks in a targeted manner.
